BLXST RELEASES DELUXE EDITION OF I’LL ALWAYS COME FIND YOU

Two weeks after his electrifying performance with Anderson .Paak on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, 2x Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Blxst has released his latest album, I’ll Always Come Find You (Deluxe), via Red Bull Records/EVGLE. Accompanying the album’s release, Blxst has shared a captivating musical short film, where he portrays the album’s protagonist, Birdie. This film brings the project’s expansive narrative to life, immersing the listener in Birdie’s journey.

Executive produced by the Grammy-winning producer Sounwave (Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Baby Keem, Kali Uchis), I’ll Always Come Find You stands as Blxst’s most sonically diverse and introspective project to date. The deluxe edition offers five new tracks and a fifth act, where Blxst continues to embody the character of Birdie. As Birdie navigates the challenges of inheriting his father’s chauffeur car service, he is constantly reminded of the life lessons his father imparted through their shared experiences in the backseat.

The deluxe version boasts notable features from renowned rappers and artists, including 2 Chainz, Offset, Kamasi Washington, Fatman Scoop, and now K CAMP, DeJ Loaf, and Bino Rideaux. Additionally, the album features skits from big-name skits from Snoop Dogg, E-40, Jay305, and LaRoyce Hawkins (of Chicago P.D.). These skits seamlessly integrate into the sequencing, enhancing the storytelling and providing a unique perspective on Birdie’s journey.

Blxst, the Los Angeles-based artist, is thrilled to unveil his deluxe and short musical film, “Birdie and I’ll Always Come Find You.” This film serves as an immersive layer, bringing the album’s world to life. To complement the album, Blxst has added a fifth act, showcasing his undeniable pocket that listeners know him for.

The album begins with “Not In The Mood,” a bluesy confessional built around a soulful vocal sample. This song delves into themes of ambition, dedication, and isolation. Blxst then indulges his sensual side with the cool longing of “Said & Done” and “Make Room,” featuring trap R&B mainstays K CAMP and DeJ Loaf.

On the Hollywood Cole-produced track “Only Us,” featuring Bino Rideaux, Blxst switches gears with a burst of energy. The lyrics flow atop trunk-rattling kicks, perfect for sunny afternoons. The album concludes with “At Least You Know,” a floating ballad where Blxst teases an on-and-off lover, reminding them of their undeniable connection with an unflinching coolness.

Blxst attributes his adept penmanship to his upbringing in Los Angeles, which has led him to host various writing camps and sessions worldwide. He believes that as a native of L.A., it’s his responsibility to bridge the gap between different tastes, cultures, music, food, and fashion. He emphasizes that the world is vast, and he wouldn’t want to limit himself to just one thing.

The deluxe album arrives alongside news of Blxst’s generous donation to Education is Key, showcasing that his superstardom and record label ownership haven’t diminished his dedication to improving his community. In collaboration with the nonprofit, for every ticket sold on his I’ll Always Come Find You Tour, $1 will be donated to provide scholarships for inner-city students in Los Angeles, Blxst’s hometown. Beyond scholarships, Education is Key organizes annual community events throughout LA and offers mentorship programs for high school students. Their mission is to empower and foster self-sustainability among LA’s youth as they transition into young adults.

Tonight, Blxst’s highly anticipated 31-date North American tour makes a stop in his hometown with a sold-out show at YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles. The tour has already taken him to cities like Houston, Boston, and New York, and it will officially conclude on December 5 in Honolulu.
