Austin City Limits Music Festival Announces Lineup in Addition to First Weekend Tickets Selling Out in an Hour

Tickets for the first weekend of the Austin City Limits music festival sold out an hour after they went on sale Thursday.

At 1 p.m., organizers announced three-day for the ACL’s opening weekend, Oct. 1-3, along with general admission plus, VIP and platinum tickets were gone. Tickets went on sale at noon. 

Organizers said there are still three-day tickets for the second weekend, Oct. 8-10, available. They’ll release one-day tickets soon, they said.

This year’s lineup for the festival’s 20th anniversary was announced at 10 a.m. Thursday.
